slow payment but good concept

i did the build your own challenge and won my bet, which was cool. the cash out was super slow though, took like two months to get my money. wish it was faster like waybetter, but the prize boost codes are a nice touch.

Good motivator, one small snag

I participated in a HealthyWager for the first time. The overall experience was pretty good; the app integrated with my fitness tracker well, which made tracking easy. I liked the prize estimator and it was a good motivator to stick to my goals. The only thing was, my initial weight verification video took a couple of tries to upload properly, which was a little frustrating. But customer service was responsive when I contacted them about it. Ended up reaching my goal and got the payout I was expecting.

Consistent results, easy process

I've done a few HealthyWager challenges now, and they're always reliable. This last one, I did another Personal Weight Loss Bet for 6 months. The weight verification was straightforward, just like before. Got my prize payout quickly after I finished, same as always. Good motivation to keep going.

Decent value for a challenge

I was looking for something to kickstart my weight loss and found HealthyWage. I signed up for a 9-month Personal Weight Loss Bet. I made sure to check the prize boost offers before I committed, and I got a $50 boost which was a nice incentive. The initial bet amount felt a bit high, but the potential prize made it feel worth the risk. The weigh-in process was a little nerve-wracking but clear enough. I'm on track so far and feeling like this was a decent investment in my health. I'll see how the final payout goes, but for now, I'm happy with the value.

Hey, wondering if anyone's had trouble with the weight verification stuff? like, is it super complicated or do they make it pretty easy?

T Tom 2 months ago
It's pretty straightforward, you just send them a video. they give you clear instructions on what to do.

Yeah, it was easier than I thought. I was a bit nervous about it but their app walks you through the whole thing. Just make sure your scale is visible and you follow their steps exactly.

Are there any real promo codes out there for HealthyWage? Every time I try to find one it seems like it's mostly referral links or prize boosts, not actual discounts on the entry fee.

A Alex 2 months ago
That's been my experience too. Most of what I see are those prize boosts, not a percentage off the bet itself. They usually add like $50 or something to your potential winnings.

Yeah, pretty much. I think they prefer to make the prize bigger rather than cut the cost to join. You can usually only use one boost code per challenge too, so pick a good one if you find multiple.

Thinking about doing a team challenge, but I'm curious how they compare to something like DietBet. Anyone tried both and have a preference?

S Sophie 2 months ago
I've done both! HealthyWage team challenge felt a bit more structured for me, and the payouts can be pretty solid. DietBet is good for shorter, quicker bursts, but the prize pools are usually smaller.

HealthyWage definitely feels like a bigger commitment but also a bigger potential reward. DietBet is more casual, good for just getting started or if you want a lower stakes game. Depends on what you're looking for.

What's the deal with getting your winnings? Like, if I hit my goal, does it take forever to actually get the cash?

D Derek E. 2 months ago
Nah, it was pretty quick for me. I think it took maybe a couple weeks after my final weigh-in. They send it straight to your PayPal.

Mine was a little longer, closer to a month, but that was during a really busy period like around New Year's. Still, wasn't an unreasonable wait. They're good about getting it to you once all the verification is done.

Can you actually change your goal after you start a HealthyWager? Or are you locked in once you make your initial bet?

N Neil P. 2 months ago
I don't think you can change the actual weight goal once you start, that's kinda the whole point of the bet. You're committing to it.

S Sam C. 1 month ago
Yeah, you're pretty much locked in on the goal weight and timeframe. I mean, you can adjust your strategy, but the number you're aiming for is set from the beginning. Makes sense, otherwise everyone would just change it if they were struggling.
